Alison has a broad range of litigation experience encompassing public law, complex commercial disputes, and regulatory investigations both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She has particular expertise in public law and professional discipline.

Alison provides pragmatic and efficient advice to corporate, public sector, and individual clients.

Alison represents clients at all levels of the court system as well as in tribunals, disciplinary bodies, the Coroner’s Court, and public inquiries. She is authorised to take direct instructions in appropriate cases.

Prior to joining the independent bar in 2021, Alison gained valuable litigation experience in large private law firms in Wellington and London.  She obtained her doctorate in law from Fordham Law School in New York in 2018.
